Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer with strong senior or third-line infrastructure or systems support experience. We require excellent knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and related communications technologies. We require solid Linux systems administration experience. We require proven AWS cloud infrastructure expertise. We require strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalling. We require experience using diagnostic and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark. We require scripting or automation exposure using Bash and/or AWS Lambda. We require experience managing high-severity incidents and technical escalations. We require strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. We would value experience in Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) or SmartTEC environments. We would value Node.js troubleshooting or application-level debugging experience. We would value exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments. We would value experience mentoring or leading technical support teams. We welcome candidates from infrastructure delivery, cloud operations, systems integration, telecommunications, managed services, or enterprise support backgrounds. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in cloud transformation, infrastructure governance, networking, automation, and technical leadership. Responsibilities: We lead third-line technical escalations across cloud, server, and network environments. We manage and optimise SIP-based communications platforms. We support AWS infrastructure and cloud-native services. We perform deep root-cause analysis and performance optimisation. We troubleshoot complex VoIP, SIP signalling, and call quality issues. We support Linux server environments and infrastructure operations. We work within ITIL-driven service management frameworks. We mentor and develop first- and second-line support teams. We collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve high-priority incidents. We take ownership of complex infrastructure environments and act as a senior escalation point. We help drive operational improvements across enterprise-scale environments.
