Senior Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join our well-established team in our busy office in Chertsey, supporting our School Based Need clinicians and service users through administrative processes. You will assist with general administrative tasks and line manage band 3 administrators.
Your responsibilities will include formatting letters, managing spreadsheets, processing referrals, and supporting Business Leads with ad hoc tasks. You should have a keen eye for accuracy and be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
Main duties of the job
This role is suitable for someone who can coordinate work effectively in a busy environment, providing support, motivation, and guidance to team members. A passion for delivering excellent customer service is essential.
The post holder is expected to act on their own initiative daily to ensure the service runs effectively, prioritizing workload as needed. Flexibility is required to adapt to changing workload demands.
Effective and professional liaison with staff at all levels, external organizations, and the public is essential, along with handling confidential information appropriately.

Job responsibilities
Provide office administrative duties for SBN, including managing email inboxes, handling referrals and letter requests, booking rooms, answering calls, and other administrative tasks. Please see the attached job description for details.
Person Specification
Qualifications required
* NVQ Level 4 in Business Admin or equivalent experience (4 years)
* Knowledge of electronic filing systems and document formatting
* Experience working in NHS or private healthcare in a similar role
Experience Required
* At least 3-4 years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
* Experience in clerical and administrative work requiring high accuracy and adherence to policies
* Handling confidential information
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
