Your new role
As HR Advisor, you will provide proactive and professional HR support across the organisation. You will manage a varied caseload, advising on absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and supporting recruitment and onboarding. You will also lead on specific HR projects such as Employee Relations Casework, Equality & Diversity, HR systems development, and policy implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Advising managers on HR policies, employment law, and conditions of service.
2. Managing ER casework end-to-end and upskill and support line managers.
3. Coordinating recruitment processes, including psychometric testing and induction.
4. Maintaining accurate HR records and updating the HR system.
5. Supporting occupational health and safety-critical screening processes.
6. Leading on HR initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist role.
8. Strong knowledge of absence, disciplinary, conduct and grievance procedures.
9. Experience with recruitment and HR systems.
10. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
