SC223206 – Facilities Learning & Development Administrator
40 hours per week – Permanent
Band 3 – £28,011 – £30,230 (pro rata) per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team providing support to line managers and supervisors across the Facilities & Estates Sector, which comprises 10 services and employs approximately 2,500 staff.
The administrator plays a key role in organising learning courses, facilitating work experience placements, various apprenticeships, and maintaining records. The post holder reports to the Learning & Development Manager and provides general clerical support to them and the team. Your role also involves responding to telephone and email queries from a variety of staff groups, schools, universities and other stakeholders. Further duties include data inputting, maintaining spreadsheets and compiling data to support the Team.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience and will be able to produce high‑quality accurate work, prioritise work to meet deadlines, use own initiative, and have excellent communication and organisational skills. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, office hours.
The successful candidate is expected to be educated to a minimum of SCQF 6 and have 3–5 years of appropriate work experience within an administration and clerical function. Ideally, experience of working within a learning and development environment would be desirable (but not essential).
The applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be required to engage and liaise with a range of stakeholders both within and outside NHS Grampian. The successful applicant must also possess a full driving licence.
