Norfolk, United Kingdom Senior Adult Learning Tutor (Grade I) / Adult Learning Tutor (Grade H) | 9298 | Permanent Contract x 2 | 18.5 hours per week | £37,280 to £39,152 per annum pro rata (Scale I) / £34,434 to £36,363 per annum pro rata (Scale H) | Norfolk We currently have a part-time opportunity to teach English as a second language. We are looking for a qualified, skilled, self-motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised individuals to provide inspirational teaching to learners in the busy Foundation Learning Skills curriculum team with Norfolk Adult Learning You will be required to work closely as part of the ESOL curriculum team to deliver high quality ESOL classes to both Norfolk residents and new arrivals. You will be dedicated to improving life outcomes for post 19 learners and will deliver English as a second language in the community in Norwich and Breckland and / or online. You should be able to demonstrate the following skills: A learner centred, active approach is necessary, along with an appreciation of the added benefits of community integration. Experience of teaching pre-literate learners is highly desirable. Excellent ICT skills, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and web-based learning programmes. Able to communicate clearly and effectively through a range of mediums. Exceptional organisational skills including an ability to work to tight deadlines. A minimum CELTA or TESOL qualifications with English and maths qualifications at Level 2 (grade H role) and a willingness to work towards a level 4 teaching qualification if not already held (grade I). Awareness of data protection, safeguarding, Prevent and information management. You will be part of a well-established, supportive team and training will be provided.
