Senior Social Worker – Family Help Service / Extra-Familial Harm Team
Hackney Council is looking for experienced and qualified Senior Social Workers to join our Family Help Service and a fixed-term role in our new Extra-Familial Harm Team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality interventions to children and families.
* Provide supervision to qualified social workers.
* Support the Team Manager with the leadership and development of staff within the social work team.
* Contribute to organisational learning and service development.
* Apply systemic, trauma‑informed and anti‑racist practice (STAR model).
Qualifications
* Social Work England recognised social work qualification or equivalent.
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Strong knowledge and skill-base in working with vulnerable children and families.
