Who are we looking for ? The Development Technician is responsible for assisting the product development work to meet customer brief requirements, from development of new concepts, lab application, supporting pilot plant and factory trials and product quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Undertake and support R&D Projects. 2. Capability to reliably follow technical details and direction accurately. 3. Develop good culinary skills to undertake development application and presentation work confidently. 4. Capability to cook up product for both internal and external presentations/tastings. 5. Support Project R&D team members with both internal pilot line trials and external factory trials at customer sites. 6. Demonstrate understanding and awareness of project importance and time scales. 7. Maintain close working relationships with R&D team 8. Develop good understanding and application of development recipe system. 9. Develop and grow ingredient and process knowledge. 10. Capability to report project progress, problems encountered as well as possible solutions. 11. Where necessary, liaise with suppliers and internal department to order ingredients required for development purposes.
