In this role, you will contribute to the review and development of our HR & Payroll System, which is transitioning to Oracle. Your experience with HR & Payroll systems will help enhance service delivery, streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve quality.
You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of salaries in accordance with employment contracts and HR information, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in payroll functions within a large organization, practical knowledge of Payroll and Pensions, and experience working with ICT systems to manage data.

PVG / Disclosure Scotland
This role requires PVG/Disclosure checks as per East Dunbartonshire Council policies. Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary payment, or in some cases, in installments following employment commencement. If the employee leaves before deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
