Overview
Clerical Officer/Receptionist – responsible for providing efficient clerical support and a welcoming reception service to staff and patients across multiple health centres.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a welcoming and confidential reception service to clients, staff and visitors.
* Participate in clerical support service to clinical and managerial staff.
* Provide administrative support and undertake clerical duties requested by managerial and clinical staff.
* Perform reception duties at the health centre for staff and patients.
* Deal with requests, incoming calls and enquiries and forward them onto the relevant personnel as appropriate.
* Book and notify patients of appointments.
* Type reports and correspondence.
* Implement and maintain adequate filing and follow‑up systems.
* Undertake general clerical duties, including collection, distribution and posting of mail.
* Ensure that manual and electronic records are maintained and up-to-date, including filing of documents in health records and facilitating smooth and timely transfer of records.
* Provide members of the public with supplies available from the health centre.
* Travel to and work from other bases within the organisation to carry out administration support.
* Provide any other duties as delegated by the Centre Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to travel to other health centres across the county as required.
* Applicants will be required to pay for a DBS check (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced; cost deducted over the first 2 months). A DBS Update Service fee of £16 per year applies.
* Visa status: This post does not meet the pay or skill level required for a Skilled Worker visa; the Trust cannot sponsor for a Skilled Worker/Health & Care visa.

Location
Based at Beeston Health Centre; the post holder will also work at Stapleford Care Centre and Kimberley Clinic.
