HW Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well established Private Equity Backed Group to help appoint a Head of Finance. This role will report directly into the CFO and be responsible for the majority of the day-to-day finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-scaling business at an exciting point in its journey - combining pace, complexity and real strategic influence. The Head of Finance will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, leading a team of circa 20, while ensuring the fundamentals are world-class and the finance operation is ready to scale. Reporting into senior leadership, the Head of Finance will be responsible for: Leading the day-to-day finance operation, ensuring smooth, accurate and efficient delivery Managing an established structure of 3 direct reports, with overall responsibility for a wider team of 18 Driving strong financial governance across controls, reporting, and operational finance Supporting a high-growth environment through commercial insight, process improvement, and scalable ways of working Partnering with key internal stakeholders to enable confident decision-making and sustainable growth We’re looking for a technically strong and commercially minded finance leader who can thrive in a fast-moving environment, ideally with: A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Proven experience leading a finance team within a growth-focused or multi-site/multi-entity environment Strong operational grip across month-end, reporting, controls and cashflow A hands-on, collaborative leadership style with the ability to drive standards and performance
