Rutherford Cross is pleased to be working with a business based in Glasgow (South) to appoint an Interim Reporting Accountant on a 12-month basis to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Complete review of balance sheet reconciliations undertaken by the reporting team Work with the payroll department to complete payroll journal, holiday and bonus accruals and overtime approval Work with external auditors to review and submit monthly VAT returns Fixed asset reconciliations and capex forecast Preliminary & final customer balance reconciliation Ensure completeness of journal entries in SAP Roll-forwards in SAP system for all shared-service and other entities The Ideal Candidate: Qualified, Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Prior experience in a similar Financial or Management Accounting role within industry Good Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems Available immediately On Offer: Competitive salary Annual bonus Hybrid working Please contact Christina McLean at Rutherford Cross for more information.
