This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol. We’re committed to your flexibility and well-being and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for part of your working week.


About the Position

The Treasury Operations department is responsible for the management of all monies for all client‑held funds and the provision of all management reporting for the activities it undertakes both internally to the business and externally to regulators and, where appropriate, other third parties. Treasury Operations is a fast‑moving environment and is responsible for the management of all Computershare bank accounts (circa 13,000 in EMEA), for handling all banking/payment‑related queries from both internal and external parties and for undertaking due diligence across all counterparties.


A role you will love

The Senior Treasury Analyst will support the Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office with analysing Computershare’s financial activities related to cash management, liquidity management, corporate debt, foreign exchange, interest rate and payments. They will provide insights to Treasury functions to enhance Computershare’s financial stability and growth. This role will move between the Treasury offices on a rotational programme and will also be developing and testing new processes before they become business as usual.


Key Responsibilities

* Implement client‑funds banking relationships, monitoring bank fees and engaging with banks on day‑to‑day matters.
* Maintain and monitor regional debt facilities and maturities, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and dealing with anomalies.
* Administer appropriate bank account structures that facilitate efficient cash movement and include cash pooling, in‑house bank and sweeps between banks.
* Process regional periodic reporting of cash balance, client balance, margin income, ad‑hoc reporting and stakeholder queries.
* Drive continuous improvement for regional Middle Office liquidity management processes such as short‑term cash‑flow forecasting, determining liquidity needs and interest‑collection management.
* Manage global bank account processes: bank mandates, Know Your Customer activities, opening/closing of accounts, bank fee analysis, banking‑portal administration and non‑routine procedures.
* Implement regional compliance processes with regulatory bodies and treasury policy, conduct due diligence for new and existing bank counterparties and resolve complex issues.
* Execute regional Middle Office Treasury accounting processes for month‑end and year‑end and identify efficiencies.
* Execute regional Back Office processes: confirmations, trade settlements, reconciliations, resolving unreconciled items and calculations.
* Execute regional Back Office payment processes: transaction preparation, initiation, payment queries, approvals and ad‑hoc tasks.
* Carry out complex analysis on client‑funds banking solutions based on client needs.
* Conduct market research to identify investment opportunities and risks and implement resulting actions, including regional FX risks.
* Monitor daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity.
* Support routine and complex trade/transaction instructions.
* Develop and test new processes before they become business as usual.
* Create and lead training for Treasury Analysts.


What will you bring to the role?


Required

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
* Experience in Treasury within a regional environment and knowledge of the associated regulatory landscape.
* Experience developing and implementing client Treasury strategies in a global organisation across multiple jurisdictions.
* Prior analytical role experience.
* Exposure to automation and centralisation in a Treasury function.
* Understanding of the financial services industry.
