Are you a RICS qualified Building Surveyor, with experience in responsive repairs and complex disrepair cases? If so, Moxie People are looking for a Building Surveyor to Manage responsive repairs and disrepair projects, ensuring compliance with housing regulations and health & safety standards. The Details:
* Job Title: Building Surveyor (Responsive Repairs & Complex Disrepair)
* Salary: FTC or daily rates £400 per day (100K if umbrella or £78K Paye + 12K in holiday pay)
* Full-time 6-12 month contract
* Location: West London hybrid working- office based 2 days per week
What You\'ll Do
* Manage responsive repairs and disrepair cases across a range of residential properties.
* Lead surveys and inspections, diagnosing building defects and recommending remedial works.
* Oversee contractors, ensuring high-quality and compliant repairs.
* Monitor financial performance, budgets, and contract compliance.
* Liaise with residents, stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve minor repairs and complex disrepair issues
* Ensure compliance with housing regulations, the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, and relevant safety legislation.
What We\'re Looking For:
* Experience in responsive repairs, disrepair claims, or building maintenance.
* Strong contract management skills - ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Knowledge of building pathology, housing legislation, and repair standards.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Confident using Excel and project management software.
* Experience in social housing
* RICS accreditation in Building Surveying
