Engineering Plant Operative (ICA)
Role Description
The Water Supply Function operates and maintains raw water sources and associated water treatment works across Northern Ireland. The Function is responsible for producing treated water to agreed standards for distribution to customers. The purpose of the job is to operate and maintain the Carmoney & Caugh Hill Water Treatment Works together with related raw water resources.
To manage raw water resources and deliver potable water to the required quality and quantity and ensure this is done securely, effectively, efficiently, safely and environmentally.

Candidates MUST be able to demonstrate in their application and where necessary at interview that they meet the following, essential criteria:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. An OND / ONC in an M&E discipline WITH A MINIMUM of 2 years' experience working on Instrument, Control and Automation Equipment within an Industrial environment.
OR
Completion of a recognised Instrument, Control and Automation Technician apprenticeship AND have significant relevant industrial maintenance;
OR
Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship WITH A MINIMUM of 2 years' experience working on Instrument, Control and Automation Technician Equipment or within an Instrument, Control and Automation Technician environment.
AND
2. Hold a full current valid driving licence which will enable you to fulfil your responsibilities.
3. Potential employees must have a permanent residence within 25 miles travelling distance by public road at any time of day to the geographical location specific to both postcodes below

What is on Offer
Salary
Grade: EPO
Base salary: £31,269.97 per annum
This payment is made up of a consolidated value of £25,911.48 and a non-consolidated value of 5,358.48 per annum.
Overtime rates are based on the consolidated value only.
The starting salary will normally be at the first point of the scale. Salaries are reviewed annually effective 1st April.
