Job Description:
TRS Staffing Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for a Global Marine & Helicopter Coordinator.
The role involves managing emergency response coordination, acting as the front line person responsible for coordinating responses and liaising with project staff and external agencies.
This position includes day and night shifts, with weekend work required.
Responsibilities include:
* Vessel and helicopter traffic control according to protocols and procedures.
* People, vessel, and communications tracking.
* Managing WTG access restrictions.
* Optimizing vessel allocations and schedule changes for efficiency.
* Operating offshore management systems, ensuring personnel certification and asset maintenance.
* Liaising with local stakeholders.
* Providing weather forecasts and interpreting data for project advice.
* Managing relationships with weather data providers.
* Monitoring marine and weather operations on the OWF.
* Emergency response planning and coordination.
* Vessel and aircraft safety and surveillance.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in Marine Coordination.
* Proficiency with Supplier Databases for Offshore Operations.
* Knowledge of Maritime Certification.
* Experience in offshore Emergency Response.
* Personnel tracking skills.
* Marine traffic control expertise.
* Airspace coordination skills.
* Weather and marine operation monitoring.
* Emergency response planning experience.
* Vessel avoidance and surveillance knowledge.
* Experience liaising with HSE, Marine Inspection, and helicopter operators.
* Ability to handle statutory pollution, lighting, and infringement reports.
