Learning Mentor / Teaching Assistants (SEMH Schools)
Location: Kirklees
Pay: £80 to £95 per

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a strong background in supporting students with diverse social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs.
Implement and monitor individual behaviour plans, focusing on positive reinforcement and therapeutic interventions.
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create personalized support strategies for students.
Organize and facilitate engaging activities and workshops to enhance students’ social skills and emotional resilience.
Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and behaviour, reporting regularly to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, either in a school or similar setting.
Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health challenges faced by students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude, with a genuine passion for making a difference in students’ lives.
