Job Title: Youth Support Worker in Charge
Location: Stevenage
Starting Salary: £28,724 pa with the opportunity to progress to a maximum of £32,040 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week, including four 2.5-hour evenings during term time, with flexible daytime hours and additional hours often available.
Contract: Permanent

Take your youth work experience to the next level and lead a team that provides young people with the support they need as they transition to adulthood.
Managing a small team of 4-5 Youth Support Workers and Volunteers, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate a range of curriculum-based groupwork projects, as well as working one-to-one with vulnerable and at-risk young people aged 11 to 17 to help improve their future prospects.
Part of the role involves handling safeguarding issues and health and safety, addressing service users’ needs, and helping them overcome specific challenges.
We’re looking for individuals with experience in youth work (paid or voluntary) who are ready for the next step in their career.
Good IT, record keeping, organizational, and planning skills are crucial, along with the ability to forge relationships with partner organizations.
