Goods inwards inspector

Main duties and responsibilities include: Responsible for the validation of products arriving at Goods Inwards. Responsible for rejecting non-conforming product back to the supplier. The Incoming Inspector should understand the purpose of Purchase Orders and Certificate of Conformity. Maintain Certificates of Conformity and other relevant documentation received with received items, as required. Liaise cross-functionally, ensuring that quality requirements are understood and maintained. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and to communicate effectively is essential Will require a working knowledge of ERP Undertake audits to internal audit programmes to ensure compliance to AS9100 and Space standards. Review and improvement of industry practices to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards. Plan and execute Quality Investigations using appropriate Quality tools (8D, 3C, etc.) Perform any other related duties, as required, which may include multi-tasking in other on-site manufacturing areas Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of three years experience in Aerospace, Space or defence industry. Level 5 education in relevant subject and / or extensive industry experience.
