We are recruiting a Support Worker to work in our Wigan Services. As a Support Worker, you will be an essential member of our team with a friendly, calm and compassionate approach. You will provide support and enable our clients to fulfil their ambitions and potential.Together we will ensure we make a positive difference in our clients lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to clients with a variety of needs including Learning Disabilities
* Work flexibly on a rota including some weekends and evenings
* Work alongside our clients assisting with budgeting monies and assist with household bills
* Administration of prescribed Medication
* Assist withmeal preparation
* On some occasions provide/assist with personal care
* Assist with all daily living tasks
* Access activities within the Local Community
* Provide a Person Centred approach following detailed Care Plans
* Previous experience in a similar roleis preferred but not essential
