Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Midhurst. The role involves delivering engaging, outdoor-focused lessons, planning and preparing educational activities, and ensuring safety while supervising children in natural learning environments. Additional responsibilities include fostering a love of nature, promoting creativity, and supporting students’ personal development. The individual will also collaborate with other educators and follow the school's curriculum and pedagogical approaches to meet educational goals.
Qualifications
* Experience in outdoor education, child-led learning, and activity planning
* Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
* Knowledge of nature-based pedagogy and environmental sustainability principles
* Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and styles
* First aid training certification and understanding of safety protocols
* Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
* A degree or certification in Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
* Enthusiasm for working outdoors in all weather conditions
