About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools across South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in diverse educational settings, supporting teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learning both in and out of the classroom, working with individuals and small groups to help them engage with their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities
Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom setup
Support pupils with additional needs, where required
Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a focused learning environment
Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
