Oxford City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Support Work Apprentice to join our dynamic Youth Ambition team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to start your career in youth work, gain valuable workplace experience, and make a real difference in your community.
As an apprentice, you will be supported in developing a wide range of youth work and professional skills while working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification. You will gain insight into how a youth service operates and have the chance to work with a variety of departments and stakeholders across the organisation and the city.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
1. Planning and supporting youth clubs after school and during school holidays
2. Doing outreach in schools and the local community
3. Helping to plan and run trips
4. Evaluating youth activities
5. Marketing including social media and events
