General Cover Staff – Teachers, LSAs, Instructors & Cover Supervisors – Birmingham
Due to the increased demand for professional, reliable, and enthusiastic cover staff, TeacherActive are looking to recruit immediately in the Birmingham area. We are currently seeking Teachers, LSAs, Instructors, and Cover Supervisors for our secondary and FE schools across the region. Roles will involve following lesson plans set by permanent staff, supporting pupils’ learning, and ensuring behaviour and disruption are kept to a minimum. A range of assignments are available, from day-to-day emergency cover to short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities. Whether you are looking for flexibility or consistency, we will match the right role for you.
Responsibilities
* Follow lesson plans set by permanent staff, support pupils’ learning, and help keep behaviour and disruption to a minimum.
* Provide day-to-day emergency cover as well as short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities.
* Match roles to your preference for flexibility or consistency.
Requirements
* At least 6 months’ classroom-based experience
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* Flexibility across a range of subjects and key stages
* A passion for education and making a difference
