To make a positive and proactive contribution to the team achieving the annual business plan by maintaining and developing client-business relationships and providing a consistently high quality service to clients through efficient and timely completion of compliance and business-related advisory services.

Responsibilities
1. Deliver the Customer Care Programme to your portfolio, adding real value to clients' businesses.
2. Assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities, improving profitability, and investing wealth wisely to protect their families and businesses.
3. Plan, prepare, and review financial accounts.
4. Identify and discuss barriers to work completion within budget or opportunities for income generation.
5. Resolve outstanding queries with clients before discussing files and final accounts with the Client Portfolio Manager/Managing Director/Partner, prior to client meetings.
6. Prepare Business Tax Computations (Income Tax) for review.
7. Ensure the preparation and submission of VAT returns on behalf of clients.
8. Maintain clients’ accounting records and management accounts as required.
9. Prepare management information reports (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly) and advise clients on improving profitability or cash flow, including competitor analysis, pricing reviews, dashboards, and profit reports.
10. Work at clients’ premises as required, undertake special projects, and perform other tasks as reasonably assigned.
Profile
1. Possess commercial awareness, identify opportunities for additional fees or services, and leverage networking to attract new clients.
2. Complete and deliver accountancy work effectively within agreed timescales and budgets.
3. Provide high-quality, proactive client service and maintain positive relationships.
4. Ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
5. Collaborate with the team to deliver and achieve the practice's annual Business Plan.
6. Assist the Managing Director in establishing and operating efficient systems and procedures to develop the business.
7. Have a good understanding of computer-based accounts preparation software and be proficient in analyzing generated reports.
8. Stay updated with relevant laws and regulations.
9. Develop soft skills necessary for effective client relations and service delivery.
