About the Role The role involves 1:1 teaching and support in the student's home (RM5 area). You'll focus on building confidence and progress in: English (reading, writing, communication skills) Maths (functional numeracy and problem-solving) Optional enrichment activities such as music and/or art-based therapies, depending on your skills and the student's interests The Ideal Candidate You will be someone who is: Experienced in working with young people with physical disabilities or additional learning needs (though training can be provided) Patient, encouraging, and adaptable in your teaching style Able to plan and deliver engaging, ability-appropriate lessons Open to incorporating creative, therapeutic, or sensory activities where suitable Reliable, organised, and committed to consistent weekly sessions Requirements Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Teaching/tutoring experience (formal or informal) Knowledge of SEN approaches and differentiated learning is an advantage Experience or interest in music/art therapy is desirable but not essential
