Location: Mayfield, East Sussex (TN20) Salary: £12.71 per hour Contract: Part-time, Term Time Only (35 weeks per year) Hours: 20 hours per week- 4 hrs per day 4.30pm-8.30pm Start Date: 13th April
About the Role
Skippers Hill Manor Preparatory School is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and thorough School Cleaner to join our friendly team working between the hours of 4.30pm-8.30pm. You will play a vital role in ensuring our pupils and staff have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment to work and learn in.
This is an ideal role for someone looking for a work-life balance that aligns with the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning designated areas of the school (classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and common areas).
* Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying bins.
* Ensuring all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
* Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the Team Supervisor.
What We Are Looking For
* Reliability: Someone who takes pride in their work and is punctual.
* Attention to Detail: High standards of cleanliness are essential.
* Transport: Due to our beautiful rural location, own transport is highly preferred as public transport links are limited.
* DBS: As this role is based in a school, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
