The Client: Specialist Savings Bank
The Location: Kent
Duration: 6 months
A great opportunity to join a collaborative team, reporting directly into the Head of Statutory Compliance and Governance Reporting. Someone with excellent Governance and Secretarial experience within a regulated environment would be perfect for this role!
The Role:
* Support statutory and executive committees, ensuring effective governance processes are in place.
* Provide guidance on governance standards, compliance, and best practice.
* Draft and review governance documentation, reports, and policies.
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
* Monitor, identify, and address governance risks.
Prior Experience:
* At least 5 years working in a company secretarial or governance department within a listed/regulated organisation
* Knowledge of the Companies Act, Listing Rules, Prospectus, Disclosure Transparency Rules and UK Corporate Governance Code is a must
* 2 years or comparable prior experience dealing with Directors/Senior Executives is desirable
Ideal for someone with immediately available or on a short notice period of no more than 2 weeks.
