SEN Teacher – Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract
A specialist education setting is seeking a passionate and highly motivated SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The provision supports children and young people aged 3–19 across three tailored sites, each designed to meet specific and complex learning needs.
These include:
* Pupils aged 3–19 with severe and complex learning difficulties
* Pupils aged 11–19 with a diagnosis of Autism
* Reception and Year 1 pupils with Autism and associated learning difficulties
With a holistic and child-centred approach, the setting ensures every learner receives the individualised support needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver creative, interactive lessons tailored to a wide range of learning needs
* Foster a Positive Environment: Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom that promotes student confidence and achievement
* Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with colleagues, families, and external professionals to develop effective teaching strategies
* Commit to Excellence: Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to continually enhance teaching quality
Qualifications and Experience
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs
* Proven success as an effective classroom practitioner
* Strong commitment to improving student outcomes and personal professional growth
* Ability to teach across a broad curriculum and adapt to individual learning styles
* Empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by pupils with complex needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
