DescriptionAbout the Role
In this role, you’ll support the smooth export of products from the UK to the ROI, EU and wider international markets. You’ll coordinate the documentation required for shipments that need Export Health Certificates (official paperwork required for certain exported goods).
Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you’ll gather and chase key information to ensure export paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on time. Your work will help keep shipments moving and prevent delays at the border.
You’ll also keep the Export Compliance Manager and Supply Chain teams updated on progress, ensuring everyone has clear visibility of timelines and any risks. This is a fast-paced, detail-focused role where your organisation and communication skills will make a real impact.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
What you’ll be doing
Coordinating export certification processes to ensure the timely movement of goods from the UK to international marketsGathering key information from internal teams and suppliers to ensure all export documentation is accurate and completeProactively communicating with suppliers to obtain required documents (e.g. attestations, approval numbers, import certificates and processing confirmations) on time and in fullTracking progress and providing regular updates to the Export Compliance Manager to ensure alignment on timelines and prioritiesSupporting liaison with Official Veterinarians and relevant regulatory bodies to ensure certifications are completed to scheduleBuilding strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep processes running smoothlyAdapting quickly to changing requirements, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhat success looks like
Export documentation completed on time with no shipment delaysZero border issues due to incorrect or incomplete certificationHigh-quality, accurate information received from suppliers first time, reducing rework and delaysWhat we’re looking for
Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential. We’re open to candidates with strong administrative experienceExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately across high volumes of informationStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectivelyConfident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders and suppliersProactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take ownership and see tasks through to completionComfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlinesGood IT skills, including experience using systems and online portalsWhat you’ll bring
