Temporary Savings Administrator
Location: Tonbridge. Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 with a 30‑minute lunch break. Contract: 2‑month. Pay: £19.54 per hour.
The Role
As a Temporary Savings Administrator, you will support the Savings Team in a high‑volume environment. You will deliver excellent customer service to savers while ensuring all processes are handled accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and correspondence
* Process customer contact forms promptly and accurately
* Carry out Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) checks on personal and business accounts
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records on internal systems
* Support with preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when required
* Liaise with internal departments including Compliance and Lending Administration
* Provide management information relating to customer activity when required
* Assist with general administration including data entry, filing, scanning and mail merges
* Support marketing data cleansing and communications
Essential
* Experience in a banking or professional services environment
* Understanding of AML procedures
* Strong data entry and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident telephone manner
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
Desirable
* Knowledge of savings products
* Experience with mail merge
* Understanding of banking systems and processes
* Customer service qualification
