You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the school, ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for our pupils and staff. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive school community. Key Responsibilities Cleaning Excellence: Carry out daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture and fittings. Waste Management: Empty bins and dispose of waste in designated compounds. Facilities Upkeep: Clean washrooms and replenish consumables like soap and paper towels; clean kitchen surfaces and appliances where required. Equipment & Chemical Safety: Use all cleaning chemicals and machinery safely, ensuring full compliance with operational guidelines and safety protocols Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, reporting any concerns to the Office Manager or Head of School. Deep Cleaning: Participate in periodic special cleaning programmes, such as internal window cleaning or wall washing. Requirements Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. A reliable, adaptable, and friendly approach. Physical ability to undertake bending, lifting, and stretching. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
