Accountant – Energy Sector £Competitive salary benefits Birmingham MC Technical Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit an Accountant to support an engineering company specialising in the Renewable Energy industry. This role will play a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting activities while working closely with both the UK and international finance teams. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for: General accounting duties, including entering information into SAP Creating and maintaining vendor master data Receiving, verifying, and posting invoices, purchase orders, and MIGOs Creating accrual objects for deferred and accrued expenses Creating and maintaining fixed asset master data Verifying invoices to be received (logistics and manual), reviewing down payments and clearing accounts Supporting intercompany reconciliations Assisting with cash flow forecasting Maintaining accurate paper and electronic filing systems Checking, posting, and clearing expense reports Verifying credit card statements Communicating refund values and resolving open items Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc. or similar.
