This national VAT team is looking for a commercial and technically strong VAT Assistant Manager to join their Reading team. Despite many of their competitors shrinking their VAT teams in 2024, this team have actually grown and require an individual who wants to move more into client advisory.
As the VAT Assistant Manager you will work in an advisory capacity to a diverse portfolio of clients from owner-managed, international, charities and property. Working closely with the Manager and Senior Manager you will be advising your portfolio on a wide range of VAT issues.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced VAT Assistant Manager looking for a role which offers more autonomy and freedom but still has the support of a wider team, or, a VAT Tax Senior looking to take the next step. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and want to climb through the ranks.
