Lettings Negotiator / Administrator. You will assist with all operations of the lettings department in a growing family business. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm. Plus every other Saturday 9am to 1pm (phone cover only.
Key Responsibilities
* To be responsible for responding to prospective tenant enquiries – telephone, website and web portal sources, and email communications.
* Carry out property viewings with prospective tenants.
* Ensure that all available properties are marketed and presented in a timely manner and to a high standard. Duties include the regular maintenance of web portals. To Let boards to be erected wherever possible.
* Handle tenant repair requests.
* Undertake periodic property inspections of tenanted properties.
* Liaison with tenants and Landlords to be carried out in a timely manner and accurately input accounting data into a computer database.
* Carry out tenant referencing in a timely manner and ensuring that progress is monitored on a daily basis.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
* A comprehensive understanding of the principles of excellent customer care.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum grade 5 in English Language and Mathematics.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and to prioritise effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Facebook and Instagram.
* Full driving licence and use of own car.
