We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic, Nursery manager to join a flagship nursery in Dorchester! If you share their core values of being positive, approachable and resilient then this could be the perfect setting for you!
This is a senior role; therefore, you will take overall responsibility of the nursery. These responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring the children are safe and supported
* Making sure day to day the nursery operates in line with EYFS
* Leading and inspiring your team
* Managing staff
* Support the children’s learning
From more of a business perspective your role will also cover:
* Organising resources
* Building relationships with the wider community
* Managing budgets
* Promoting the nursery locally
Although this is a big role, rest assured you won’t be on your own! You’ll have the support of directors and the leadership team alongside clear policies and systems to guide you!
Requirements
* You will need to have a Level 3 Early Years Qualification, alongside 3 years of experience post qualification in a leadership or management role.
* You should have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Safeguarding and SEND.
* Experience in making and implementing budgets.
* Your staff will rely on you as well as their senior figure so you must be well experienced in staff supervision, training and performance management.
* The working week covers Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, and you must be flexible within these times.
