Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
Home Decarbonisation- We’re working to eliminate fuel poverty, providing end-to-end management in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Our team works closely with homeowners and local authority partners to provide home energy advice to prepare for Net Zero.
As part of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of the transition to net zero, working with not just those around you, but across the Group- sharing learnings to deliver essential infrastructure services for life.
What will you be doing?
Looking for your next challenge as a Finance Manager? Join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract in our Sutton office (hybrid) and dive into a dynamic, growing business. You'll take on diverse accounting, reporting, and analytical duties, manage junior finance team members, and share your expertise with stakeholders across the business and beyond.
Own the accounting and reporting for ECO, Community Schemes, and Project Functions. Keep reconciliations tight, support budget holders, and lead the Bierce company accounts—month-end results, VAT returns, paying suppliers, and more. Drive process improvements, and support budgeting and forecasting. Ready to make an impact? Come aboard!
What You’ll Bring
* Fully Qualified Accountant with a recognised body (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Experience of preparing monthly accounts and supporting annual audits
* Ability to maintain and enhance robust financial controls, policies and procedures
* Strong excel skills and confident working with large data
* Supervision and development of team members
* Previous experience of using Oracle would be advantageous
* Effective Communication and stakeholder management skills
