Job Title: Customer Operations Analyst
Location: Manchester / Hybrid
We’re Ryft — a fast-growing FCA-regulated payments company making it radically easier for platforms to onboard, verify, and pay out their sellers. We’re scaling fast and looking for a sharp, detail-driven Customer Operations Analyst to join our team.
This isn’t just another support role. You’ll be right at the heart of the action — owning onboarding, keeping us compliant, and making sure our customers get fast, frictionless support from day one. What you’ll be doing:
* Own onboarding — review business documents, verify identities, and approve new customers using tools like tools
* Handle support tickets in Freshdesk — answer questions, resolve issues, and keep response times tight.
* Run KYC/KYB checks and support compliance workflows to keep us moving quickly and safely.
* Collaborate with our Risk & Compliance teams to ensure we stay ahead of any potential issues.
* Monitor customer activity and flag anything suspicious or unusual.
* Keep things tidy — maintain accurate internal records and make sure procedures are followed.
What we’re looking for
* Detail-oriented and solutions-focused, you spot issues early and solve them fast.
* Clear, professional communicator, written and verbal.
* Experience in customer ops, onboarding or support (ideally at a fintech, payments platform, or similar).
* Familiar with tools to manage tickets and third-party verification platforms (Onfido, Veriff, Sumsub, etc.).
* Bonus if you understand KYC/AML or compliance workflows.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote-first startup — you’re self-motivated and proactive.
Nice to have
* Background in fintech, payments, or other regulated financial services.
* Experience with CRMs, onboarding flows, or automation tools like Zapier or HubSpot.
