We are seeking a Sales Tendering Engineer to strengthen our team and support the growth of our specialist department. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual with an engineering or manufacturing background who enjoys working directly with clients to provide technical and commercial solutions.
Responsibilities
* Client Engagement: Work directly with customers to understand technical and commercial requirements.
* Quotation Preparation: Generate accurate and competitive quotations for engineered solutions.
* Follow-Up & Business Development: Actively follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.
* Commercial Awareness: Balance customer needs with business objectives to deliver value-driven results.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Background or exposure to engineering/manufacturing environments.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to engage confidently with clients.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
* Organised and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
* Experience in a sales, tendering, or applications role is desirable.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes or engineered solutions beneficial.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
