An exceptional and rare opportunity has arisen to join Tovey Little Dental Centre as a Part-Time Implantologist. We are a respected, modern and award-nominated practice located in Wakefield city centre, seeking a highly experienced clinician to provide expert implant care to our established private and referral patient base, 1 day per week to begin with.
This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced implant surgeon looking for a flexible, well-supported position within a thriving, multi-disciplinary practice.
The Opportunity

This role offers a highly attractive clinical focus with minimal non-clinical responsibilities, ideal for an experienced implant clinician wanting to maintain surgical skills alongside other professional commitments.
Clinical Responsibilities
We are looking for an implantologist with a strong track record in:
6. Dental implant placement and surgical treatment, including All-on-4s and All-on-6s
7. Advanced implant restorative planning
8. Bone augmentation/GBR, where applicable
9. Management of complex implant cases, including sinus lifts
10. Pre-operative assessment and CBCT planning
11. Providing patient-centred care and strong case presentations
12. Collaboration with referring dentists and restorative partners
You will work closely with our in-house dental team to deliver excellent outcomes and build long-term patient relationships.
Candidate Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
13. GDC registration and eligibility to practise in the UK
14. Proven experience in placing and restoring implants (minimum 100 implants placed)
15. Postgraduate training in implant dentistry (e.g. Diploma or equivalent)
16. Confidence with guided surgery workflows and surgical planning
17. Strong communication and patient case presentation skills
18. High clinical standards with an evidence-based approach
