Job overview
The role of the Imaging Pathway Coordinator is to work closely with clinicians, Assistant Service manager and Imaging Operational Manager to ensure that the care pathway of all patients is effectively managed.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to act as a flexible administrative resource actively supporting patient pathway improvement projects and proactively managing inter-trust imaging pathway. The post holder will have direct patient contact working with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure that patient journey is processed in a timely and efficient manner, overseeing booking processes for all modalities, ensuring we are meeting national scanning targets, waiting time pathways and other performance targets.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A-C
2. •Administrative experience within the NHS
3. •NVQ 3 in administration or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
4. • IT skills equivalent to RSA II, NVQ2 or relevant experience of Microsoft Word Packages

Essential criteria
5. •Minimum 3 years NHS experience
6. •Experience in a patient focused or customer service role, preferably within health or social care
7. •Ability to prioritise workload
8. •Good time management
9. •Experience of data collection and analysis
Desirable criteria
10. •Experience of using IT Systems such as RIS, PACS, IPM, Mediviewer, ICE
11. •Minute/note taking
