Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic, and creative individual who thrives on supporting young children during their earliest learning journey?
We are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Bradshaw department at Winchester House School for September 2025. You will play a vital role in shaping the education and development of children in a vibrant, welcoming, and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support groups of Nursery children in daily learning activities.
2. Scaffold learning through structured play both indoors and outdoors.
3. Monitor, assess, and track development via Tapestry and Development Matters.
4. Contribute to planning and subject area leadership.
5. Maintain learning journeys and create stimulating learning environments.
6. Supervise lunch and playground duties, supporting children's personal hygiene needs.
What We’re Looking For:
* A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
* Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
* Experience working in Early Years settings.
Winchester House School
Founded in 1875, Winchester House School moved to its current 18-acre site in Brackley in 1922. The school is situated in Manor House, an attractive building dating from the early 1800s. Winchester House offers a fully co-educational nursery, pre-prep, and preparatory school, providing outstanding education for children aged 3-13, with day, occasional, and weekly boarding options.
