The Assembly Technician supports Production and Engineering operations, reporting to the Cell Lead at our Barnstaple site. This role requires onsite presence 5 days a week. The salary is up to £28.5k, depending on experience.
What you'll do
* Provide assembly and machining support within a multi-skilled production team, collaborating closely with Wiring Technicians, Test Technicians, and Engineers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
* Support training for apprentices, developing their skills with machine tools, promoting safety, health, and housekeeping standards.

The skills you need
* Experience in a skilled assembly technician, mechanical assembly, or electro-mechanical role.
* Ability to follow instructions for electrical and mechanical assembly.
* Practical skills with attention to detail, requiring minimal supervision.
* Relevant engineering or technical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or substantial experience.
* Familiarity with soldering and wiring operations is advantageous.
