Join Spectrum Brands, a ~$3B global consumer products company with a portfolio of trusted, market-leading brands including Remington, Black & Decker, George Foreman and PowerXL.
With strong growth across Europe and partnerships spanning major grocery, e-commerce, and high street retailers, this is an exciting time to join our Home & Personal Care division, headquartered in Manchester.
We’re looking for a Planning Assistant to support our EMEA supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional with a relevant degree who is looking to build a career in supply chain and planning within a fast-paced, international environment.
The Role
As a Planning Assistant, you’ll support the Category Planner in delivering end-to-end supply planning across the EMEA region, helping to ensure excellent product availability and smooth supply chain operations.
In this role, you will assist with reviewing forecasts and preparing procurement plans, ensuring data accuracy and alignment to planning timelines. You’ll help coordinate new product launches and lifecycle activities by tracking phase-in/phase-out plans and maintaining accurate system data. A key part of the role will involve creating and managing purchase orders in SAP, monitoring progress, and escalating any risks or delays.
You’ll act as a first point of contact for suppliers and colleagues in East Asia, supporting clear communication and timely execution of supply plans. You’ll also support container planning and logistics coordination, working with freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure efficient shipment processes.
Alongside this, you’ll monitor inventory levels across the network, flagging any risks to availability or excess stock, and support replenishment planning for satellite depots. You’ll maintain accurate master data in SAP and contribute to weekly and monthly KPI reporting, helping identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Abou You
You’re proactive, organised, and eager to build a career in supply chain. This could be your first role after university, or you may already have some experience in a planning, logistics, or supply chain environment. You have a relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, or a related field, and a strong interest in how products move from supplier to customer.
You’re comfortable working with data, with good Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail. Ideally, you’ll have some familiarity with SAP or similar systems, but this isn’t essential as full training will be provided. You’re a strong communicator, able to work collaboratively with teams across different functions and regions, and confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Most importantly, you bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the drive to develop your skills in a global business.
If you’re looking to kick-start your career in supply chain with a leading international company, we’d love to hear from you – apply now and be part of a team where you can grow and make an impact.
