NHB are partnering with a growing, UK-based facilities management business to appoint a commercially driven Finance DirectorThis is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director, with full responsibility for the finance function and a team of 5. The business delivers maintenance services to well-known B2B clients (think major retail contracts) so strong stakeholder management is essential.Key Responsibilities-Lead and develop the finance function, managing a team of 5Provide strategic financial leadership to support business growthPartner with the MD and senior stakeholders to drive commercial decision-makingDeliver accurate and insightful financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planningDrive EBITDA improvement and margin optimisationSupport contract performance analysis and commercial negotiationsEnhance financial controls, processes, and reporting systemsManage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and investorsContribute to board-level discussions and strategic initiativesWhat we’re looking for:Strong academicsExperience within a Private Equity-backed environmentCommercially focused with the ability to influence at board levelBackground in B2B environmentsExposure to facilities management, hard FM or contract-based businesses is highly advantageousProven experience leading and developing finance teams
