We are now looking for a proactive IT Apprentice to join our team and support both our Head Office and nursery staff. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in helpdesk support, device deployments, and general IT operations-all while contributing to a caring and purpose-driven organisation. In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job: Assist with general IT helpdesk requests, providing first-line technical support to staff.
Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets within agreed timeframes, ensuring timely communication with users.
Support with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new devices, including laptops, tablets.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and update inventory as needed.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to both Head Office and nursery staff.
Assist in installing and updating software applications and operating systems.
Help maintain network connectivity, printers, and other office equipment.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Salary, Hours&Benefits: £15,863 - £25,589 per annum (depending on experience)
8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
25 days basic (excluding bank holidays) 1 extra day holiday for each year of employment (max 27 days excl. bank holidays)

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we'll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You'll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you'll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You'll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
