Robertson Bell are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Education Trust. This role offers the chance to take on a broad range of finance responsibilities while working closely with the Finance Manager. You’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting, supporting budget holders, and maintaining strong financial processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the preparation of management accounts through reconciliations, journals, and variance analysis.
2. Contribute to accurate payroll processing by liaising with providers and ensuring financial records are kept up to date.
3. Partner with managers across the organisation to review budgets, monitor spend and provide clear financial insight.
4. Assist with external reporting requirements, audits, and compliance processes.
5. Oversee elements of transactional finance, including invoicing, payments, and credit control.
Person Specification
6. Education sector experience desirable.
7. Solid experience in reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.
8. High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving.
9. Organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
