Marketing Manager
FTC - ending 14th March 2025
Hybrid -Approximately 1 day per week in Milton Keynes and 1 day per month in Cheltenham
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team based out of Milton Keynes. The role will be varied: researching market analysis on one day, and devising and creating new campaigns and developing bespoke marketing communications the next, so you will be organised and work effectively – prioritising to get things done..
You'll make decisions based on insight but have the creative ability to translate data into compelling website content. You will be good at using digital marketing techniques and be passionate about understanding the results, to drive continuous improvements in your plans to meet targets.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a compelling marketing strategy
* Create awareness of AQA Global Assessment Services and develop the brand, driving customers into the sales funnel
* Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
* Implement marketing plans, advertising, e-marketing and campaigns
* Write clear, factual material and persuasive marketing copy, and proofread copy for both online and print campaign
* Produce creative content, including case studies, videos and blog posts
* Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement and conversion
* Manage third party designers and have a good sense of design
* Book, organise attendance and prepare marketing materials for conferences to achieve maximum ROI
* Track relevant tenders and help support tender response process
* Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
* Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare monthly reports for management
* Monitor and report on competitor activity
* Extensive digital marketing experience in a similar role (minimum of two years)
* Proven success in managing marketing campaigns delivering growth with a clear ROI
* Experience of planning marketing strategy
* Experience of reporting on campaigns to key stakeholders
* Experience of creating compelling content
* Experience of working in the education sector would be beneficial but not essential
* Experience of a small business environment
