Assessor/Trainer Plumbing and Gas

Are you an experienced plumbing and gas professional looking to make a real difference? Were recruiting an Assessor/Trainer to join a busy, high-performing Construction Department in the Cambridgeshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to share your industry expertise and help shape the next generation of skilled professionals.
What youll do:
* Deliver engaging, high-quality training, coaching, and support to apprentices
* Conduct workplace assessments and progress reviews
* Monitor and accurately track apprentice progress
* Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA)
* Build strong professional relationships with employers across the region
* Contribute to business development and employer engagement activities
* Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety requirements
* Maintain clear and comprehensive records and documentation
This role offers agile working, blending on-site delivery, workplace visits, and remote administrative work from home.
What were looking for:
* Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Plumbing
* Strong, relevant industry experience
* Assessor and/or IQA qualifications (desirable)
* Teaching or assessing experience (desirable)
* Solid understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence with digital systems and tools
* Flexible, professional, and collaborative approach
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle, or ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties
