Job Title: Regional Care Services Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking, motivated, and 'can do' individual to join our Regional team in North Powys, Wales. This role covers multiple sites across North Powys, including Welshpool, Newtown, Llandrindod Wells, Llanidloes, Llanfyllin, and Machynlleth. The successful candidate will provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to service managers in your region.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing and taking full accountability for the commercial targets of services, including agency use and occupancy.
2. Collaborating with the Quality and Compliance Department and other teams to establish best practices, follow company policies, and achieve regulatory standards.
3. Ensuring the financial integrity of the service through monitoring and process compliance.
4. Recruiting, onboarding, supporting, and reviewing staff effectively.
5. Fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and identifying growth opportunities.
6. Leading and developing the team using tools like KPI dashboards.
7. Modeling aspirational and consistent leadership behaviors.
8. Ensuring high standards of care aligned with the company's vision.
9. Leading continuous quality improvement initiatives.
10. Building employee engagement and empowering the workforce.
11. Developing managers' performance using the Competency Framework.
12. Representing the business values and strategy authentically.
13. Maintaining up-to-date care plans and ensuring quality care delivery.
14. Responding to safeguarding issues and ensuring statutory notifications are made timely.
15. Monitoring incidents and investigating trends.
16. Supporting the management team in delivering high-quality customer service.
17. Leading regular management meetings and effective communication.
Requirements:
* Relevant management qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership, Registered Manager's Award).
* Experience managing multiple adult and social care services.
* Knowledge of care regulations, budget management, and team leadership.
* Flexibility to work across sites and respond to emergencies, including out-of-hours issues.
* Valid driving license and own car.
Desirable:
* Experience in marketing services or selling market beds.
* Fluency in Welsh.
Salary: £68,266.59 plus a monthly car allowance of £470. Hours: 37.5 per week.
