As part of our Water and Environment team, you’ll help shape the future of water infrastructure through strategic partnerships with the region’s largest water companies.
From early-stage feasibility and planning to design, construction management, and long-term operations, your work will span the full project lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions you will help shape the future of the Uk`s water infrastructure, making a real difference to communities and the environment.
You’ll join a team of nearly 600 water experts working on high-profile projects, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and diverse challenges. At Jacobs, you won’t just be part of a world-leading consultancy you’ll be part of a movement to redefine what’s possible in the water industry.
Remit and Responsibilities
* Lead multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept to completion
* Deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions across water infrastructure
* Oversee technical delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
* Showing exemplary behaviour in personal and team health, safety and wellbeing management in accordance with Jacob’s BeyondZero approach.
* Continue to develop our relationship-based growth model, by fostering relationships with our existing water clients
Requirements
* Demonstrable progressive experience in civil engineering expertise in detailed design and design-and-build execution for water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects
* A sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and project lifecycle management.
* Familiarity with UK water sector regulations and safety protocols
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Member of ICE or CIWEM.
* Robust understanding of current health, safety and welfare legislation
* Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
